About This Manual the Insurance Manual has been prepared by Aon Risk Services, Inc. of Florida (Aon) and Broward County, (Owner). Aon is the insurance broker and OCIP Administrator for this Program. The Manual is designed to identify, define and assign responsibilities for the administration of the OCIP for the Broward County Owner Controlled Insurance Program.What This Manual Does This Manual: Generally describes the structure of the Broward County OCIP; Identifies responsibilities of the various parties involved in the Program; Provides a basic description of OCIP coverage; Describes audit and administrative procedures of the program; Provides answers to basic questions about the OCIP; Is incorporated in the Contract Documents by reference and therefore, forms part of the Contract for each enrolled Contractor and Subcontractor; Will be updated as necessary.
What this Manual Does NOT DO This Manual does not: Provide coverage interpretations; Provide complete information about coverage; Provide answers to specific claims questions; Specific questions concerning the OCIP, its administration or insurance coverage provided, should be referred to the appropriate party identified in the Program Directory section immediately following this introduction.
