This Procedures Manual Contracts and Indemnification Agreements
This manual has been developed to provide useful information on
insurance language to use in agency contracts with outside vendors, contractors or lessees. This manual is only to be used as a guideline and to provide recommendations of limits and coverages. The limits and coverages recommended in this manual are not mandatory. The ultimate decision as to what limits and coverages will be required in a contract is to be made by each State Department, Agency, Board or Commission entering into the contract. This manual is advisory recommendations only. The manual also does not supersede higher insurance limits required by state statute for certain types of contracts.
